I long wanted to make a trip to Key West, with a stop at Ernest Hemingway's house on the itinerary. I got there in 2003. This is the gatehouse where you pay your fee. This cat lolling away the day is one of the 70+ current descendants of the famous Hemingway six-toed cats.
